We pride ourselves in providing a calm and relaxed salon experience. We tend to have no more than 6 dogs in at the same time and the salon is set up in a way that we can keep dogs separate. When the weather is hot we have cooling mats for the dogs and provide water and toilet breaks if needed. We want your dogs to feel as comfortable as possible. We also provide solo appointments for your dog if it’s nervous or doesn’t like other dogs or people.
Ellona, Jess, Lisa and I are all experienced animal handlers. We all feel that praise and a gentle approach with dogs is the right way to get the best out of a dog. We believe that if we behave positively so does the dog.
We speak calmly to the dog, we do not pull dogs around, talk to them in a negative way or treat them with disrespect.

We speak calmly to the dog, we do not pull dogs around, talk to them in a negative way or treat them with disrespect. We dish out cuddles and remain calm even with the most challenging dogs.
All your pet grooming needs
Everyone has their own ideas of how their dog should look and it’s our job to translate that into practice. We make your doggie look shaped, cute and sometimes younger! If you have photos of styles you like or preferences with head, ears, legs, feet, tail or length please give us as much detail as you can to ensure we get it right.
However please note if your doggie is wriggly or bitey it might not be possible to achieve everything you want. Safety for us and the dog comes first.
Every dogs nails will be checked and trimmed during a groom.
For regular customers, we provide FREE nail clipping between grooms to keep your doggies nails trimmed and healthy.
For customers who just come in for nail trimming, we charge between £3-5 per visit. Just call the day before to get an appointment and we will fit you in. As easy as that!
Please note occasionally dogs nails bleed if we hit the quick. If your dogs nails have not been trimmed for a while the quick gets longer.
Every doggie deserves a clean, fluffy and gorgeous smelling coat. We shampoo every dog at least twice to make sure all of the dirt is out of the coat. Sometimes really dirty doggies (Spaniels you know who you are!) need three shampoos. We also use conditioner on dry coats. We have a range of shampoos and conditioners to help your doggies coat stay in tip top condition. Evening Primrose for dry & flaky skin, Aloe, mat de-tangle and de-shed. We want your dogs fresh smell to last in your home!
There is nothing we love more than getting a big doggie in the salon that needs all of its dead useless hair blown out of its coat, and that’s exactly what we do! We have high velocity blasters that blow all the hair out of the coat instead of it being left on your carpets and sofas. What is t blasted out we brush until it’s all out, leaving your dogs hair clean, sliky and glossy.
For our regular dogs that have appointments every 8-12 weeks we are offering a health and maintenance bath and brush half way between grooms.
This involves, shampoo & conditioner to keep the coat in excellent condition, mat treatments, brushing to remove any dead hair, for skin allergies & dry skin, we use evening primrose oil shampoo and conditioning spray which helps oils in the coat. Clean & pluck ears if needed, clean around the eyes, remove hair from under pads, check overall health.
If dogs are not brushed and combed appropriately, it can cause matting.
Matts are large clumps of hair or many tiny clumps that are hard to brush out of the dogs coat without causing stress, harm and sores to the dogs skin. Which I am sure you do not want for your dog. Please see our blog for further info. A fee of £5 people we dog is charged for extreme mat removal.
We offer a full range of hand stripping services. Please contact us for a quote.
